What Coherence knows about you.

Very little. Coherence is a breathing companion that runs on your Mac. Your sessions, settings and habits stay on your computer, and we never sell or share personal information.
The app on your Mac
Your settings, such as session length, companion, soundscape and invitation timing, are stored locally on your Mac. Sessions happen entirely on your computer, and no record of when or how often you breathe is sent to us.
To decide when to invite you, Coherence checks on your Mac whether an agent session is running and whether you are in a meeting, sharing your screen or using a full-screen app. Those checks stay on your Mac. Coherence does not read, record or upload the contents of your screen, files, code or terminal.
This website
This site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it has no account to sign in to.
- Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when the page loads.
- Hosting. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, to run and protect the service.
- The browser demo. The session you can try here runs in your browser. Sound starts only after you press a button, and nothing about the session is sent anywhere.
Buying Coherence
Payment is handled by [payment provider]. They collect your name, email address, billing details and payment information to process the purchase, send your receipt and prevent fraud, under their own privacy policy. We receive a record of the purchase, such as your email address, the amount and the date, so we can help if you need support or a refund. We never see or store your full card number.
If you write to us, we use your message and email address only to reply. We do not add you to a mailing list without asking.
Your choices
You can ask us what purchase information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it for tax or legal reasons. Uninstalling the app removes it from your Mac; you can also delete its settings from your Mac's Library folder.
Children
Coherence is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
